What a climb, but the view is totally worth it.

Over the weekend I finally climbed the infamous Incline in Manitou Springs. I made it up nearly 2,744 steps including the 300 steps that come after the false summit. I started off with a positive attitude despite the vertical path that lied ahead of me. However, even with that positive attitude I felt an elevation in heart rate and breath within a few steps. With all my might I pushed myself to keep going and to start again after each stop. With every stop I turned around to take in the view and it only got better each time. Finally at the top, with a bunch of exhausted people short of breath, I could see well past the edge Colorado springs city limits and everything in between.
